Cooling Tower Water Filtration

Why Use Cooling Towers?
Cooling towers are used to reduce the temperature of a liquid, water, by
bringing it into contact with an air stream where a small portion of the water
is evaporated and the majority of the water is cooled. Cooling towers are used
in plants where there is insufficient lake or river water available. As the
cooling tower water is used, contamination will occur causing the cooling
tower’s efficiency to drop. Additionally, contamination can cause the cooling
tower to fail and increase its downtime.
Solution: COMO Filtration Systems
Particulate contamination does not mean that the cooling tower water must be
disposed of and replaced. Through multi-pass filtration, the particulate can be
removed from the cooling tower water and thus the life of the water can be
increased. Both fine and gross contamination can be removed through the use of
multi-pass filtration. COMO Filtration will reduce scale build-up,
impurity contamination and increase a cooling tower’s efficiency.
