SOLUTION 400 ZINC GALVANIZING SPRAY Performance: Long-term Protection Against Rust And Corrosion ¨ Contains 97% Pure Zinc Metal ¨ Effective As Hot-dip Galvanizing ¨ Use As A Primer Or Final Coating ¨ Bonds To Ferrous And Previously Galvanized Metals u Meets MIL-P-46105, MIL-P-21035, DOD-P-21035A, MIL-P-26915 SOLUTION 400 ZINC GALVANIZING SPRAY provides superior, long-term protection against rust and corrosion on ferrous bare metal and previously-galvanized surfaces, with galvanic action equal to hot-dip galvanizing. Withstands dry heat to 750° F. It contains 97% pure zinc metal for a tough and durable coating. It works by bonding to metal and acting as a sacrificial layer, so the zinc rusts instead of the metal. Withstands 1000 hours of salt spray (ASTM B-117-64)Properties:
Flash point (liquid) 15° F % Non-volatiles 46 Propellant Hydrocarbon Boiling point -44° F Film thickness 1 mil Specific gravity 1.19 Vapor density Heavier than air Evaporation rate Slower than ether Solubility in water Slight APPLICATIONS: Use as a protective finish, corrosion protectant on storage tanks, offshore drilling rigs and trailers, fencing, metal roofs and gutters, springs, coils, auto and truck bodies, pipelines, exhaust stacks, doors, and any metals needing protection against salt, moisture, heat, and other environmental conditions. DIRECTIONS: Always refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet and product label for safety information. Shake until mixing balls rattle freely inside. Hold can upright. Spray parts or surfaces with a thin coat. For best results, apply several thin coats, allowing 15 minutes drying time between coats. Allow coating to dry thoroughly (up to 24 hours) before allowing anything to touch it. To prevent clogging of spray button, turn can upside-down after use and spray until only vapor or clear material comes out.
