TRANSOKUT 2039 DESCRIPTION Product DataTransokut 2039 contains active sulfur and is designed for use on ferrous and ferrous alloys applications calling for an extreme pressure (EP) cutting oil. Transokut 2039 is a unique lightly colored transparent extreme pressure cutting and machining oil. Transokut 2039 is formulated from severely hydro treated base stock compounded with unusually light colored active sulfur, chlorine and lubricity containing additives. This well balanced blend of active sulphur, chlorine and fatty materials provides maximum EP and anti-weld characteristics along with very high film strength and outstanding lubricity. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS Transokut 2039 is recommended for most metal machining operations including stainless steels, high nickel steels and heat resistant alloys. Due to its low viscosity, Transokut 2039 may be used for gun drilling, threading, turning , tapping, reaming and broaching . Transokut 2039 enables the machine operator to better observe and control the machining process. Transokut 2039 provides better surface finishes, greater dimensional accuracy and extended tool life. Storage/Handling/Disposability No health or safety hazards exists when Transokut 2039 metalworking fluids are stored, used and disposed of in accordance with instructions given on the Material Safety Data Sheet for this product.
